My name is biswash paudel, and I am writing as a fellow researcher.<br \/>I am interested in importing the graphene properties into HFSS, I have been working on a related project that involves simulating graphene-based structure using HFSS, and I found myself facing some challenges in this aspect. I was hoping this forum provide some guidance or clarification to this matter.<\/p>\n<p>I calculate the graphene conductivity using Kubo&#8217;s formula which gives me both real and imaginary.<br \/>My issue is &#8220;Do I need to calculate the permittivity from the complex conductivity and import into HFSS OR the real part of conductivity needs to apply as permittivity and imaginary as loss tangent?&#8221;.<br \/>please find the attached graphene conductivity code and plot in MATLAB.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/30-05-2023-1685409041-matlab_code_conductivity.PNG\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/30-05-2023-1685409057-conductivity.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-286244","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Dear Fellow researchers,I hope this post finds you well.
