I was expecting a faster meshing with 12 CPUs&#8230; Am I, actually, using 12 CPUs also for meshing, with that setting, or not? <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-indent: 0px\"><span style=\"font-family: 'DejaVu Sans Mono';font-size: 12pt;color: #000000\">If I am using 12 CPUs, are 1~1.6 million elements considered such a big mesh? Actually, after these meshes are done, the FEA calculations terminate in ~ five minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-indent: 0px\"><span style=\"font-family: 'DejaVu Sans Mono';font-size: 12pt;color: #000000\">What are the typical elements numbers to judge an Ansys Mechanical mesh coarse, middle-size, big, untractably big (for my PC specs)? <br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 0px;font-family: 'DejaVu Sans Mono';font-size: 12pt;color: #000000;margin: 0px\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 0px;margin: 0px\"><span style=\"font-family: 'DejaVu Sans Mono';font-size: 12pt;color: #000000\">2) I am experiencing rather slow graphic-window refresh rates after mouse clicks or settings in these two circumstances:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-indent: 0px\"><span style=\"font-family: 'DejaVu Sans Mono';font-size: 12pt;color: #000000\">&nbsp;when I select to view mesh elements with a specific value of quality metrics (e.g., skewness)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-indent: 0px\"><span style=\"font-family: 'DejaVu Sans Mono';font-size: 12pt;color: #000000\">&nbsp;when I create a cross plane, and when I switch between a cross plane and the full-model view<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 0px;margin: 0px;padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"font-family: 'DejaVu Sans Mono';font-size: 12pt;color: #000000\"> In the first case I may have to wait for more than ten seconds before having the view updated, while in the second case I have to wait 3~5 seconds for the switch.
