Inside the fluid body a solid steel particle (1x1x1m) is located with FSI and displacement BC. The solid particle has a displacement along the length (z-axis) of the basin and maintains a constant depth.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/16-05-2023-1684234676-mceclip0.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/16-05-2023-1684234676-mceclip0.png\" width=\"1111\" height=\"490\"><\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Apperently the elevation of the free surface (spatial patterns of the eigenmodes of the water body) can be displayed with directional deformation of the free surface and acoustic pressure of the water body. Analysing this and the frequency response graph it can be concluded that the spatial sloshing patterns and eigenfrequencies match up with the theory (Raichlen 1966). However, I am not sure how to interpret the amplitudes.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/16-05-2023-1684235128-mceclip2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/16-05-2023-1684235128-mceclip2.png\" width=\"1090\" height=\"531\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/16-05-2023-1684235521-mceclip4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/16-05-2023-1684235521-mceclip4.png\" width=\"1091\" height=\"546\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/16-05-2023-1684235002-mceclip1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/16-05-2023-1684235002-mceclip1.png\" width=\"1082\" height=\"336\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Firstly, I am interested if it makes sense to setup the model like this. Can the linear sloshing response of free surface under this type of harmonic forcing be modelled with Harmonic Acoustics?
