The simulation is harmonic for 50 steps between 1050 &#8211; 1100 Hz. My goal is to obtain the sound pressure levels in the acoustic domains, at specific nodes, as well as in the far field (using an acoustic equivalent surface and far field microphone). The model ranges up to ~950000 nodes which yields a result file ranging from 28 &#8211; 35 GB. After loading in these results I find it is almost impossible to reopen mechanical. I believe the results file may be so large it bolts down the computer. It takes at least 4 hours of waiting for it to open.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Is there a way to reduce the size of this file? Specifically so that it does not hang up mechanical when I try to open it.
