I&#8217;m trying to optimize the thickness of a single layer structure in order to minimize its reflection, like in this video: https:\/\/youtu.be\/JRng9coYY5Y&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Even though I followed up the same steps, every time I try to perform an optimization I got this error:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/04\/26-04-2023-1682483507-lumerical_size_error.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Here is the desing and component tree of my simulation:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/04\/26-04-2023-1682483824-lumerical_size_error_1.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;R_&#8221; is the monitor and I&#8217;m trying to extract value of &#8220;T&#8221;. To do that I created a single layer structure inside of structure group and added a parameter which is &#8220;thickness1&#8221;. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/04\/26-04-2023-1682483878-lumerical_size_error_2.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Then I added this script: <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/04\/26-04-2023-1682484067-lumerical_size_error_3.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>And lastly, I made an optimization configuration: <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/04\/26-04-2023-1682484480-lumerical_size_error_4.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>After finishing the first generation of optimization it gives me this error, &#8220;The results for R_ are incorrect size.&#8221;:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/04\/26-04-2023-1682484195-mceclip1.png\"><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m trying to fix this for 2 weeks and still no progress. I tried to follow up same steps in video I shared but have no idea about the problem.
