I hope you can help me.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Overview\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/03\/24-03-2023-1679665626-Overview.PNG\" alt=\"\" width=\"1178\" height=\"721\"><\/p>\n<p>The Problem is the bolt pretension which compresses in ansys the clamp length to simulate the preload force.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/03\/24-03-2023-1679666098-Bolt.PNG\" alt=\"\" width=\"1076\" height=\"646\"><\/p>\n<p>I thought that I can just measure deformation in y-direction from the two surfaces and take the average value of it and then substract then from each other to get the total deformation in y-direction.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/03\/24-03-2023-1679666669-sufaceleft.PNG\" alt=\"\" width=\"1037\" height=\"484\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/03\/24-03-2023-1679666763-surfaceright.PNG\" alt=\"\" width=\"1103\" height=\"592\"><\/p>\n<p>Well this dosesnt work.
