I’ve been using Workbench, Spaceclaim, and Mechanical fine for weeks (21 R2 on Windows 11 on my personal computer). Suddenly, a few days ago, Spaceclaim started misbehaving. First the Additive Prep build volume wouldn’t generate (but also didn’t produce any errors).<\/p>\n

If I try to load Spaceclaim from Workbench I’m told “The geometry editor was closed abnormally”. <\/p>\n

Steps I’ve already tried:<\/p>\n

  1. I removed the Additive Prep features from Spaceclaim (Options > Licenses > Unchecked Additive) and that hasn’t solved the issue.<\/li>\n
  2. Renamed the Ansys APPDATA folder to clear the config. <\/li>\n
  3. Run the SpaceClaim config file (Ansys\/v212\/commonfiles\/configs\/win64x\/config\/AnsConfigSpaceClaim.exe)<\/li>\n
  4. Uninstalled the entire Ansys suite. Removed any lingering folders\/files in the install directory. Rebooted. Reinstalled the entire Ansys suite. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    And, I’m having the same problems. <\/p>\n
