See below error message.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/discovery\/2023\/03\/567.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/discovery\/2023\/03\/567.png\"><\/a>&nbsp; ,<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/discovery\/2023\/03\/568.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/discovery\/2023\/03\/568.png\"><\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We have tried the connection test and are getting a 0% loss.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>4) Connection request check<\/p>\n<p>Perform following steps to check whether this connection request is getting blocked or not:<\/p>\n<p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Open Command prompt in administrative mode.<\/p>\n<p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Execute following command:<\/p>\n<p>ping&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/ansys-fno.flexnetoperations.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">ansys-fno.flexnetoperations.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It looks like it&#8217;s pointing to a curl error so we have been through the resolution steps in <a href=\"\/knowledge\/forums\/topic\/fne-activation-failed-peer-certificate-cannot-be-authenticated-with-given-ca-certificates\/\" rev=\"auto\">FNE Activation Failed. Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates<\/a> with no success<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Downloaded and installed all the correct certification.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wp-colorbox-image cboxElement\" href=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/discovery\/2023\/03\/569.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/discovery\/2023\/03\/569.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>6) For&nbsp;ping command showing 0% loss:<\/p>\n<p>If ping command output&nbsp;is showing 0% loss and still you are unable to launch Discovery product, then perform following steps:<\/p>\n<p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Send output of ping command&nbsp;to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ansys-discovery-support@ansys.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Discovery Support Team<\/a><\/p>\n<p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Download attachment &#8220;curl_7_53_1.zip&#8221; from below link and extract&nbsp;<a href=\"\/t\/h4gzdg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Download Curl Installer<\/a><\/p>\n<p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Rename curl.exe.tmp to curl.exe&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Open Command prompt in administrative mode and go to the location where curl.exe is saved<\/p>\n<p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Execute following command:<\/p>\n<p>curl.exe -v&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ansys-fno.flexnetoperations.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/ansys-fno.flexnetoperations.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Send the output of above command to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ansys-discovery-support@ansys.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Discovery Support Team<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Type %temp% in Windows Search and locate .ansys folder.
