I&#8217;m having a<br \/> rather lively discussion with my hardware vendor regarding the system<br \/> requirements.<\/p>\n<p>I read the specs and was under the impression that the ASUS (my<br \/> motherboard manufacturer) Nvidia GTX 1050 was enough to run DL. He is<br \/> adamant that only the 1070 will do.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not looking for &#8220;recommended&#8221; requirements, even more so that I&#8217;ll<br \/> not be running CFD but mechanical simulations, just &#8220;minimal&#8221; and the<br \/> 1070 seems a tad overpowered.<\/p>\n<p>Could you please clarify this?
