The reason why I am writing to you is because we are having problems with the difference between the results we obtain using RMX or using Maxwell.

We want to obtain the value of the induction on the airgap of an Asynchronous Electric machine, on the one hand, in the simulation performed using RMX we are able to obtain the value of the induction on the airgap searching for it on the solution data file on the RMX results as you can see on the image below.

On the other hand, to measure the induction on the airgap using Maxell, I have drown a polyline in the airgap and I have done the simulation. Once the simulation has finished, I have drown a 3D field report where X=Distance, Y= Time and Z = +(*(ScalarX(<Bx,By,0>), Cos(PHI)), *(ScalarY(<Bx,By,0>), Sin(PHI))).

After drawing the graph, we export the reults to a .csv file with the aim of obtaining the values of its harmonics using the Fourier transformation method, where the fundamental harmonic has to have more or less the same value as the one we have obtained on the RMX, but the value of the flux density on the airgap is 0,66 Tesla, far away from the one we obtained using RMX.

So our concern is why arent we obtaining the same values using RMX and Maxwell, is there something else to take into acount on Maxwell in addition to the polyline? Because we have tried the simulation with different meshes but the result is the same because the mesh should not have any effect on the value of the fundamental harmonic.

I tried to explain our problem but I know that it can be confusing, if yo need more information please ask for it.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Kepa Iguaran

["post-254123","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry","topic-tag-ansys-discovery
[{"0":
23651
0
200
unanswered
publish
254123
27789
3452","23651
2
4
259146
259146
2022-02-02 11:32:10
["GET
