Nevertheless, the surface mesh seems to deteriorate near the edges. This mesh makes contact with the red mesh at its bottom through a circular contact region. The light blue mesh depicts the overset boundary. However, during the initialization of the overset connection, orphan cells arise near the edge. Notably, these cells emerge between the red and blue wall, and not adjacent to an overset boundary. As we progress towards the overset boundary away from the edge, the faces of the dark blue mesh and the red mesh are appropriately aligned. Could somebody explain why this is happening? Sometimes it does work when I increase or decrease the surface mesh of the blue wall. I even used the following command: (rpsetvar &#8216;overset\/cut\/thin-cut-nlayer).
