Von Mises stress exceed material&#8217;s yield strength even after using ERESX,NO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello,<br \/>I&#8217;ve been using Static Structural module to conduct the stress analysis of lattice structure under quasi-static compression.<br \/>The model was imported as Abaqus.inp file voxel hexagonal mesh.<br \/>The tensile yield strength of the material is 68 MPa.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"equivalent stress\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/20-01-2023-1674208165-123.PNG\" alt=\"\" width=\"982\" height=\"598\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"analysis setting\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/20-01-2023-1674208225-analysis setting.PNG\" alt=\"\" width=\"1281\" height=\"616\"><\/p>\n<p>The solution rendered maximum stress far beyond the material&#8217;s yield strength.
