I want to apply an impulse force obtained from a Maxwell 2D transient analysis to the object. Figure-1 shows the diagram of force changes in terms of time (black curve). Since I have not found a way to apply this force, I have approximated it as a red curve. That is, the extremum points are connected linearly.
Importing force to the mechanical environment is done through Maxwell’s direct link. 4-time steps are defined so that in each of them, the value of one of the force extremums is applied, then by ramping them, the said linear curve is obtained.
But, I could not apply a ramp with a negative slope to the force, and ramping is done only in an upward direction. Figure-2 shows the final state of the force curve, which is different from the desired one.
Can someone please guide me to fix this problem?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-244920","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry","topic-tag-mechanical","topic-tag-transient-structural"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_subscription":["171140","200","4413"],"_bbp_author_ip":["23.44.170.61"]," _bbp_last_reply_id":["0"]," _bbp_likes_count":["0"],"_btv_view_count":["1586"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_bbp_status":["publish"],"_bbp_topic_id":["244920"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27791"],"_bbp_engagement":["200","4413","171140"],"_bbp_voice_count":["3"],"_bbp_reply_count":["4"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["245197"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["245197"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2022-12-30 18:31:05"]},"test":"hiwaghaffari"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/244920","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/244920\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=244920"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
