I am trying to design a 2D FE model of BLDC motor as shown in figure 1. I have excited the windings with an external circuit (figure 2). The switching signals for the voltage controlled switch have been implemented based on back emf curve six commutation points. I am getting a distorted current shape for model depth (stack length) 52.75 mm as shown in figure 3. But a decent current shape for model depth of 53 mm( figure 4). How to resolve the issue for figure 3.
