The magnetic circuit is completed by a linear magnetic box (lighter blue) as shown.&nbsp; I&#8217;m using an external circuit to connect the windings in series, and to excite them with a sinusoidal voltage source (red curve).&nbsp; There&#8217;s enough current flowing (blue curve) that, when it&#8217;s multiplied by the number of turns and divided by the length of the windings, I think the H field should be strong enough that the core should be starting to saturate.&nbsp; However, the current (again, blue curve) looks perfectly sinusoidal.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m therefore wondering if I have something set up incorrectly, such that the transient solver isn&#8217;t taking nonlinear B-H into account.&nbsp; I&#8217;ve attached some screen shots of excitations, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Other notes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>When I solved this in the eddy solver, the matrix inductance and resistance were at least &#8220;in the ballpark&#8221; of what I expected.<\/li>\n<li>I let the mesh get up to 400k tets, which I think should be plenty.<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s a small air gap between the core and the linear magnetic material.<\/li>\n<li>Turning on &#8220;Magnetization Computation&#8221; didn&#8217;t seem to make a difference.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>The &#8220;AF&#8221; solver makes the output current settle quickly as advertised, but otherwise seemed to have no effect.<\/li>\n<li>It might be obvious, but this is my first time using Maxwell 3D &nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.1.0\/svg\/1f609.svg\" alt=\"?\"><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.&nbsp;
