Please see the figure below for the circuit, all the components are ideal. But the result of the ENA is empty with a warning: &#8220;no valid result could be found with the current circuit s-parameters&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>For the applications provided by Lumerical, the ENA can be used the get the S-parameters of low-pass filters, S-parameter elements and traveling wave electrodes. All those are in the electrical domain.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I am wondering if the ENA can be used when there are E\/O and O\/E conversions (using Modulators and PDs) in the network.
