Using a point cloud data set of a tube, I created the tube surface. Gave it a thickness, shrinkwrap, and then created a skin. I used two planes at the openings to make a nice ‘cut’ to define the inlet and outlet. I then made a volume of the inside so I could define the fluid domain.
\nThen I keep getting held up at the meshing stage.<\/p>\n
Does anyone see any obvious mistakes I am making? I’d upload the file but it seems most prefer images.
\nI’s appreciate any insight on the error message.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-169732","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry","topic-tag-fluent","topic-tag-meshing","topic-tag-surface-meshing"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_btv_view_count":["4578"],"_bbp_likes_count":["0"],"_bbp_subscription":["256705"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_bbp_status":["publish"],"_bbp_topic_id":["169732"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27792"],"_bbp_engagement":["62","256705"],"_bbp_voice_count":["2"],"_bbp_reply_count":["3"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["215353"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["215353"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2022-05-25 12:42:48"]},"test":"jmwaianemail-arizona-edu"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/169732","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/169732\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=169732"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
