{"id":169700,"date":"2022-05-23T08:42:22","date_gmt":"2022-05-23T08:42:22","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/remote-point-connections-not-visible-at-other-tree-outline-object\/"},"modified":"2022-05-24T08:42:38","modified_gmt":"2022-05-24T08:42:38","slug":"remote-point-connections-not-visible-at-other-tree-outline-object","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/remote-point-connections-not-visible-at-other-tree-outline-object\/","title":{"rendered":"Remote Point Connections not visible at other tree outline object"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I believe in a past version of Mechanical it was possible to turn on the visibility of Remote Point Connections at any tree outline object (Geometry, Mesh, Connections etc.).<br \/>\nBut I know for a fact, that it was definitely possible to turn on the visibility of Remote Points Connections while looking at the assigned materials (by color) in the Geometry window, as you can see from an older screenshot:<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/forum-uploads\/623\/L6C06RJWMHOI.png\" width=\"697\" height=\"483\" \/>This option is now missing for at least 2 &#8211; 3 releases, I believe with the introduction of this button<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/forum-uploads\/741\/J4VSKHIWC603.png\" width=\"80\" height=\"72\" \/>which replaced this Details option (non-existent anymore):<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/forum-uploads\/173\/MYVK9YZ9K43W.png\" width=\"154\" height=\"60\" \/>From that point on it is only possible to see the Remote Point Connections by selecting &#8220;Remote Points&#8221; at the tree outline and turning their visibility on with the button, which is greyed out at any other tree outline object:<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/forum-uploads\/189\/QTT60CD2KPXC.png\" width=\"71\" height=\"71\" \/>Is this shortcoming intended?
