The default value is 58,000,000 Siemens\/m, and I would like to run a variation from roughly 10% below to 10% above default. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Typically in HFSS, I can type a variable name into a box, and the software recognizes this as a variable and asks for the default value. I tried this when creating a new material in the material list, and was told that my variable &quot;copper_conductivity is not a defined variable name in this context&quot;. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Next, I went to HFSS -&gt; Design Properties to create a new variable. I made a new variable with units &quot;S_per_m&quot;.
