The original model created in RMxprt has 11 conductors per slot. Now, once in Maxwell 2D, I would like to test the motor performance changing the number of conductors from 11 to 66, while maintaining the resistance and the inductance of the voltage-type excitation windings (according to Maxwell Help in this type of winding the resistance accounts for the phase resistance, and the inductance, for the end-effects inductance). <\/p>\n<p>However, after increasing the number of conductors per slot (Fig 1 vs Fig 2), the results do not make sense. I&#039;ve tested both models with a load of 70 Nm. While the one with 11 conductors per slots reach a certain operating speed, the one with 66 conductors cannot start (speed is negative).
