


{"id":167695,"date":"2022-03-24T13:29:12","date_gmt":"2022-03-24T13:29:12","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/ansys-meshing-sweep-method-failure\/"},"modified":"2022-03-29T10:22:39","modified_gmt":"2022-03-29T10:22:39","slug":"ansys-meshing-sweep-method-failure","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/ansys-meshing-sweep-method-failure\/","title":{"rendered":"Ansys Meshing Sweep Method Failure"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"Item-Body\">\n<div class=\"Message userContent\">\n<p>I am trying to use Ansys Meshing tool to create a sweep mesh, but I keep getting 5 errors:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> A mesh could not be generated using the current meshing options and settings.<\/li>\n<li>One or more bodies cannot be swept because a side face cannot be automatically map meshed.<\/li>\n<li>Sweeping failed because one or more side faces can not be automatically map meshed.<\/li>\n<li>Quad map meshing failed on one or more surfaces. A surface could be narrow with many boundary edges which may not have been properly paired up for meshing.&nbsp;Using hard size controls on the boundary edges to force the same number of divisions might help.<\/li>\n<li>An error occurred during sweeping meshing a face.
