Hi,<\/p>\n

I've been getting varying license errors when running Fluent 2021R2 Academic version on a server cluster. Error messages are listed below:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

ANSYS LICENSE MANAGER ERROR:Failover feature 'CFD Base' is not available.<\/p>\n

Request name cfd_base does not exist in the licensing pool.<\/p>\n

Dependent feature FEAT_CFD_BASE in AND keyword is not available.<\/p>\n

Dependent feature FEAT_CFD_SOLVE_LEVEL1 in AND keyword is not available.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Unable to spawn node: license not available.<\/p>\n

ANSYS LICENSE MANAGER ERROR:Not enough HPC Parallel licenses 40\/4.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

ANSYS LICENSE MANAGER ERROR:Failover feature 'CFD Solver – Level 2' is not available.<\/p>\n

Request name cfd_solve_level2 does not exist in the licensing pool.<\/p>\n

Cannot connect to license server system.<\/p>\n

 The license server manager (lmgrd) has not been started yet,<\/p>\n

 the wrong [email protected]<\/a> or license file is being used, or the<\/p>\n

 port or hostname in the license file has been changed.<\/p>\n

FlexNet Licensing error:-15,570. System Error: 115 "Operation now in progress"<\/p>\n

I've contacted the server IT as well as license provider and they both can't find any configuration issues on their ends. A small number of license checkouts were successful (usually on 4 cores) but the vast majority of attempts fail especially when anshpc licenses are involved.<\/p>\n
