According to the user&#039;s guide &#8211; &quot;If contact regions are bonded, then no sliding or separation between faces or edges is allowed. Think of the region as glued&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>However, as you can see in the deformation picture (true-scale image), there is some substantial sepatation between the bodies. What setting should I change to avoid this?<\/p>\n<p>I also tried to set the same thing in connections &#8211;&gt; joints, but the effect was the same.<\/p>\n<p>I applied the contact just because these two bodies has got different material properties.
