Both methods respected the middle curve separating the 2 squares and gave a conformal mesh.<\/p>\n<p>I deleted (not permanently) the middle curve ( so its dormant) and again meshed with Patche Dependent and Patch Independent methods. This time both methods did not respect the middle dormant curve. I had expected the Patch Dependendent method to respect the middle dormant curve since I thought the 2 squares are separate patches.
