Hi, everytime I try to solve mechanical APDL, it crashes. In the .err file I saw the following:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

 *** ERROR ***                          CP =     32.859  TIME= 23:12:00<\/p>\n

An unexpected error ( SIG$ILL ) has occurred… ANSYS internal data   <\/p>\n

 has been corrupted. ANSYS is unable to recover and will terminate.    <\/p>\n

 Previously saved files are unaffected. Please send the data leading   <\/p>\n

 to this operation to your technical support provider, as this will<\/p>\n

 allow ANSYS, Inc to improve the program.                               <\/p>\n

I have already looked through Google search and this forum but none of the threads gave a solution that worked. Note that the .ans file I ran works on another pc just fine. Information about my pc:<\/p>\n

Windows 10 64 Bit<\/p>\n

CPU AMD FX-8320<\/p>\n

RAM 16 GB DDR3<\/p>\n

GPU Nvidia GeForce 760<\/p>\n

Windows and all drivers are up-to-date. Many of the solutions in other threads mentioned that "distributed solution" should be turned off in the process solver options. However, I am using APDL and I can't seem this option. I did see some options in the APDL launcher under "High Performance Computing Setup", where I tried all sorts of combinations but none of them worked. <\/p>\n
