


{"id":164542,"date":"2021-12-03T12:29:50","date_gmt":"2021-12-03T12:29:50","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/problems-meshing\/"},"modified":"2022-04-13T08:33:15","modified_gmt":"2022-04-13T08:33:15","slug":"problems-meshing","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/problems-meshing\/","title":{"rendered":"Problems meshing"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"Item-Body\">\n<div class=\"Message userContent\">\n<p>Hi, I am new to ansys and am trying to create meshes of a model for the fluid and solid domains for an FSI simulation of blood flow in an aneurysm.<\/p>\n<p>I started with an stl file of the geometry and imported it to spaceclaim converting it to a solid body. From here I made an outward shell to create the &#039;solid&#039; domain for my problem (ie the aneurysm wall). I then trimmed the inlets and outlets of the domains to remove the new facets that had been added with in the shelling step. The output can be seen in the image below.
