I have already modeled particles over a flat bed using DEM and have extracted particles radii and coordinates. Is there a way I can create these particles in Fluent?<\/p>\n<p>I am using VOF with Solidification\/Melting and have a solid block over which I want to create the particles. I know that I can use cell registers to create a particle and give it a phase fraction corresponding to metal. But it will take a lot of time creating single particles using Cell Registers and patching to metal phase fraction.<\/p>\n<p>Other way is to write a UDF and initialize the Volume Fraction for all the particles using spherical domain.
