A force of 10N is aplied on the small area at the middle of the bar (green area as shown in the picture below).&nbsp;Is it the same if I use &quot;force&quot; on &quot;green face&quot; and &quot; node force&quot; on &quot;nodes inside area&quot;? The value of 10N is summation of all equal small force on each element face\/ node, isn&#039;t it?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If I set 10 substeps\/ 1step does it mean the force is applied gradually 1,&nbsp;2, 3 N and so on?
