I had applied remote displacements (with the behavior set to deformable) individually for each of the four sides of the top plate, but I felt it wasn&#8217;t the right boundary condition because the stresses were very high throughout the entire body. Regarding the elastic support, I applied it to the bottom of the model by assigning a large value to the foundation stiffness (since it was throwing an error about exceeding the internal solution magnitude limit for smaller values), but in this case, the stresses were very low.&lt;\/p&gt;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-397832","reply","type-reply","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Thanks for the quick reply.
