See the section in the user manual on reporting fluxes which says &#8220;Note that the fluxes are reported exactly as computed by the solver. Therefore, they are inherently more accurate than those computed with the&nbsp;&lt;span class=&#8221;guilabel&#8221;&gt;<strong>Flow Rate<\/strong>&lt;\/span&gt;&nbsp;option in the&nbsp;<a title=\"51.20.4. Surface Integrals Dialog Box\" href=\"https:\/\/ansyshelp.ansys.com\/Views\/Secured\/corp\/v242\/en\/flu_ug\/flu_ug_reports_task_page.html#flu_ug_Surface_Integrals\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Surface Integrals Dialog Box<\/a>&nbsp;(described in&nbsp;<a title=\"41.7. Surface Integration\" href=\"https:\/\/ansyshelp.ansys.com\/Views\/Secured\/corp\/v242\/en\/flu_ug\/flu_ug_SurfaceIntegration.html\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Surface Integration<\/a>).&#8221; If you plot the solution for temperature and\/or species mass fraction you can see if there are any significant gradients near the inlet or outlet.
