Since the exit pupil is calculated as the image of the aperture stop in image space, it doesn&#8217;t make much sense to use this solve before the stop (And that&#8217;s why the solve there is not doing anything).&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You can have a look at the article &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.zemax.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/1500005488821-Display-pupils-on-a-layout-plot\">Display pupils on a layout plot &ndash; Knowledgebase<\/a>&rdquo;.
