&#8220;ssh node188 whoami&#8221; should result in your username being shown)&lt;br&gt;also verify that a firewall is not blocking ports used by intel MPI&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;what is the scheduler on this cluster ? see if the cluster administrator requires use of something else other than ssh
