<p>Hi, I think the program controlled settings work best for the contacts. However, if you still see some penetration try giving contact sizing and try refining the mesh in the contact surfaces.<\/p><p>If these contact settings wouldn’t work i will go with:<\/p><\/p>\n

  1. Contact formulation : Augmented Lagrange<\/li>\n
  2. Detection Method: Nodal Normal to target<\/li>\n
  3. Penetration tolerance turned on with low value of tolerance <\/li>\n
  4. stiffness : Factor<\/li>\n
  5. Stiffness factor: if both clip and plane are same material Use 1 if one material is soft use 1e-2<\/li>\n
  6. update stiffness: Each Iteration<\/li>\n
  7. Pinball radius : Program Controlled<\/li>\n
  8.
