Do check the initial contact conditions properly.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It can sometimes even occur due to over constrained models or poor support conditions, if possible share some model setup info if the initial contacts are properly setup.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The mesh also seems very coarse, with highly elongated elements.
