You could also try understanding what&#8217;s happening near the PML boundary by placing a point time monitor nearby to see if the fields are circulating for some time.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you are finding reflections or want to do a bit of convergence testing, I was thinking you could try increasing the number of PML layers to see if that impacts the resonating energy.
