Stop the license server in the ANSYS License Management Center &#8220;LMC&#8221;&lt;br&gt;2. rename &nbsp;&#8220;C:\\Program Files\\ANSYS Inc\\Shared Files\\Licensing\\license_files\\Ansys_license_454904_6a1acaf3.lic&#8221;&nbsp; &nbsp;to &nbsp; &#8220;C:\\Program Files\\ANSYS Inc\\Shared Files\\Licensing\\license_files\\Ansys_license_454904_6a1acaf3.lic_OLD&#8221;&lt;br&gt;&lt;span style=&#8221;font-size: 14pt;&#8221;&gt;3. Open the license file sent to you in MS &lt;\/span&gt;&lt;span class=&#8221;markprvc4sqxm&#8221; style=&#8221;font-size: 14pt;&#8221; data-markjs=&#8221;true&#8221; data-ogac=&#8221;&#8221; data-ogab=&#8221;&#8221; data-ogsc=&#8221;&#8221; data-ogsb=&#8221;&#8221;&gt;Wordpad&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;span style=&#8221;font-size: 14pt;&#8221;&gt; &#8211; after opening, select all and copy to clipboard&lt;br&gt;&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;span style=&#8221;font-size: 14pt;&#8221;&gt;4. Create a new file in&nbsp;&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;span class=&#8221;markrwh1wrp34&#8243; style=&#8221;font-size: 14pt;&#8221; data-markjs=&#8221;true&#8221; data-ogac=&#8221;&#8221; data-ogab=&#8221;&#8221; data-ogsc=&#8221;&#8221; data-ogsb=&#8221;&#8221;&gt;Notepad&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;span style=&#8221;font-size: 14pt;&#8221;&gt; &#8211; paste the clipboad &#8211; save as newlicense.txt&lt;br&gt;&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;span style=&#8221;font-size: 14pt;&#8221;&gt;5.
