In case of two mode overlap from MODE the modes both are normalised with field maximum being 1 whereas, if I import the second mode as d-card from the FDTD monitor, this second mode is not normalised to have filed maximum being 1 but I seems function is still giving reasonable results. 2) I tried to free space waveguide1 mode from facet in FDTD and overlap with waveguide2 facet in FDE (as I stated in the previous post), I replicated the same swapping the two waveguides and the results are slightly different, though I would expect the process to be symmetrical. Is this expected for some other reason?<\/p><p> <\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-365296","reply","type-reply","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies\/365296","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/reply"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies\/365296\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=365296"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
