The log doesn&#8217;t seem to have any insights into the issue. I will recommend you to 1. reboot the computer, just to make sure there are no applications in the background taking up significant RAM 2. Delete the FDTD.ini preference file. <a href=\"https:\/\/optics.ansys.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/4948629625619-Ansys-Lumerical-product-preference-files\">&lt;span style=&#8221;text-decoration: underline;&#8221;&gt;<strong>This link<\/strong>&lt;\/span&gt;<\/a> will tell you how to do that. It restores all the defaults. 3. Rerun the simulation.
