{"id":355583,"date":"2024-03-06T10:26:02","date_gmt":"2024-03-06T10:26:02","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/reply\/355583\/"},"modified":"2024-03-06T10:26:02","modified_gmt":"2024-03-06T10:26:02","slug":"355583","status":"publish","type":"reply","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/reply\/355583\/","title":{"rendered":"Reply To: Multiphase model doesn&#8217;t give good results"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&lt;p&gt;Hi Rob, I&#8217;ve run again the simulation these are the residuals after 1250 iterations:&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/06-03-2024-1709719193-mceclip0.png\" width=\"532\" height=\"313\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;And these are the residuals after adding 600 iteations on top:&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/06-03-2024-1709719493-mceclip1.png\" width=\"782\" height=\"335\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I ran the first 1250 itrations in batch mode through Workbench in Optislang and the other 600 manually by opening the workbench file and changing the number of iterations.&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The UDS are for the mean age of air and for the PLI calculation, I&#8217;ve got a spike in them as well (these are reported in the same cell zone of my domain and on the mixture phase).
