Please check Control Panel &gt; Programs &amp; Features &gt; to see which ones are installed.&lt;br&gt;Perhaps a newer one is already installed so this one ight not be getting installed ?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;one option could be to note down versions of what is installed on your computer (see my example screenshot below)&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Then for backup purposesm identify and download the installation files for the VC++ redistributable versions already installed on your computer.&lt;br&gt;Once you have those installaiton files, you could try uninstalling newer&nbsp; VC++ redistributables, then try instaling this and the Anss version which is expecting to see this version.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;after the needed VC++ redist and Ansys are installed, you can use the installation files for the newer VC++ you downloaded above to upgrade it back to the prior version, but this way you will have gotten the slightly older version installed in the interim.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;hope this helps&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/02\/26-02-2024-1708963239-mceclip0.png\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-353874","reply","type-reply","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Hello,Perhaps a newer VC++ is installed?
