The Ansys fluent automatically splits the interior into two parts: 1. interior-part-surface-body 2. part-surface-body.&nbsp;&lt;br&gt;So, I used combine &gt; merge zones tool to merge those two.&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So, when I run simulation <strong>without merging<\/strong> those two zones, the simulation runs <strong>smoothly<\/strong>.&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When I <strong>merge <\/strong>those two zones, the simulation&nbsp;<strong>diverges<\/strong>.&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Wihout merging, the mesh looks weird as some cells are missing from interior.&nbsp;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Comparision of the with merging and without merging looks like this:&lt;br&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/02\/01-02-2024-1706790789-interiorComparision.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What should I do now?&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-348247","reply","type-reply","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies\/348247","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/reply"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies\/348247\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=348247"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
