Scaling may avoid the issue, but you&#8217;d need to scale in the &#8220;up&#8221; direction and then hope the mesh wasn&#8217;t too skewed when rescaling in the solver.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&lt;p&gt;Why do you need to resolve the roughness, but at the same time don&#8217;t want to spend the cell count to actually resolve the roughness?&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-326419","reply","type-reply","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"There are a couple of things to consider here.
