You are using a minimum and maximum time step of 1 s. So if the solver needs a smaller time step to converge, it can’t use a time step of say 0.1s or 0.001 s. Try the following:<\/p>
Number of Steps: 1<\/p>
Auto Time Stepping: On<\/p>
Define By: Time<\/p>
Mininum Time Step: 0.001s<\/p>
Maximum Time Step 0.1 s<\/p>
If it still doesn’t converge play around with these values (try reducing the minimum time step) and see if that helps.<\/p>
<\/p>
<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-326232","reply","type-reply","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies\/326232","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/reply"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies\/326232\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=326232"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
