{"id":309936,"date":"2023-10-04T06:12:51","date_gmt":"2023-10-04T06:12:51","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/reply\/309936\/"},"modified":"2023-10-04T06:12:51","modified_gmt":"2023-10-04T06:12:51","slug":"309936","status":"publish","type":"reply","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/reply\/309936\/","title":{"rendered":"Reply To: FLEXlm server Issues with Ubuntu &#8211; Ansys License manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&lt;p&gt;Thanks for the help George &#8211;&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I think the issue is further back, it looks like the Flexnet daemon isn&#8217;t being installed when the Ansys License Manager installer is running.&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I restarted the entire process and re-installed Ansys License Manager. The installer error log had the following error:&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Error was encountered during the licensing configuration:&nbsp;&lt;br&gt;&nbsp; &nbsp;&#8216;\/ansys_inc\/shared_files\/licensing\/tools\/bin\/runlmconfig&#8217; terminated after 1 attempts with the following error(s):&nbsp;&lt;br&gt;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Unknown error&lt;br&gt;&nbsp; &nbsp;Exit Code: 127&lt;br&gt;&nbsp; &nbsp;\/ansys_inc\/shared_files\/licensing\/tools\/bin\/linx64\/ansyslm_config: error while loading shared libraries: libSM.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Any ideas on why the file cannot be opened?
