So to account for the solid volume I added a ternary phase with a constant velocity of 0 m\/s in all zones. I then patched the volume fraction of the solid phase equal to (1-porosity) = 0.03. This enforces the volume fraction limitation of 0.970 (V_L+V_S+V_G=1). <\/p>
<\/p>
What I am regarding is that in their results their average volume fraction of the liquid phase in the porous zone is ~0.40 (see image way up above).<\/p>
<\/p>
<\/p>
<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-300887","reply","type-reply","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies\/300887","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/reply"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies\/300887\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=300887"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
