Are you able to ping\/telnet the server using the command prompt?&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p class=&#8221;MsoNormal&#8221;&gt;2.&nbsp; Go to C:\\Program Files\\ANSYS Inc\\Shared Files\\Licensing&lt;span style=&#8221;mso-ligatures: none;&#8221;&gt;&nbsp;and open ansyslmd.ini to verify if the application is pointing to the right server, and to make any changes open it as admin.&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p class=&#8221;MsoNormal&#8221;&gt;&lt;span style=&#8221;mso-ligatures: none;&#8221;&gt;Again rename the Ansys folder (%appdata%).&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p class=&#8221;MsoNormal&#8221;&gt;3.
