In ansys if I define a mooney-rivlin hyperelastic material (per the equation below) with a d=0, this would be the result of the materal being incompresisble.<\/p>
<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ansyshelp.ansys.com\/Views\/Secured\/corp\/v231\/en\/ans_thry\/graphics\/eqbeb82ce1-2e31-4ceb-a366-cf2da8ee5ae2.svg\" \/><\/p>
However in the mooney rivlin 2 parameter equation this would result in a calculation where 1 is divided by 0, which gives an undefined value. So my question is, what is ansys using inplace of the “undefined” value in this scenario?

<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-291748","reply","type-reply","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies\/291748","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/reply"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/replies\/291748\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=291748"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
