These are not layered elements. This is a 2D analysis. Check the Mechanical APDL element reference guide for info on these elements&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;ACP does not create plane elements. You can use ACP for creating layered shells and layered solid elements.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you need to do an axisymmetric analysis, you can do that directly in Mechanical. You do not have to use ACP&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;=============&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You can import the outer shell or inner shell into ACP. YOu can define the modeling plies and build a solid model in ACP resulting in layered solids.
