Between load steps in SOLUTION, material properties cannot be changed from linear to nonlinear, or from one nonlinear option to another.&#8221;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So you can&#8217;t switch the type of plasticity model, etc.&nbsp; If you do, you will get an error like this.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;div id=&#8221;paraDiv&#8221;&gt;&lt;p id=&#8221;paragraphData&#8221; class=&#8221;paragraphText&#8221; style=&#8221;font-size: 12px; display: inline;&#8221;&gt;&nbsp;*** FATAL ***&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; CP =&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 191.328&nbsp;&nbsp; TIME= 14:33:48&lt;br&gt;&nbsp;Change a nonlinear material model, 2, to another nonlinear material&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &lt;br&gt;&nbsp;model, 1, is not allowed for element type 186.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &lt;\/p&gt;&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;p&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/09\/23-09-2022-1663968326-mceclip0.png\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Regards,&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Sean&lt;\/p&gt;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-236202","reply","type-reply","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Hi Helen,See the screenshot below.
