For users without root access, manually download &lsquo;freeglut&rsquo; from your Linux distribution&rsquo;s website and then extract and copy this into the Lumerical installation folder.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Install with root access:&lt;\/p&gt;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>RHEL\/CentOS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<pre>sudo yum install freeglut<\/pre>\n<ul>\n<li>Ubuntu<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<pre>sudo apt-get install freeglut3<\/pre>\n<ul>\n<li>SLES<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<pre>sudo zypper install freeglut-devel<\/pre>\n<p>&lt;p&gt;Install without root access on RHEL\/CentOS\/SLES:&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Download the RPM package for your Linux distribution.
